The BROM II includes a Flexion/Extension instrument with a patented technology to measure lumbar and thoracic flexion and extension while allowing the examiner to have a free hand to guide patent movements. It also includes a patented Rotation/Lateral unit which allows these measurements to be taken in the preferred upright position. The unique magnetic inclinometer/magnetic reference can detect lumbar movements to two degrees. It is the only instrument on the market that can measure lumbar rotation in the seated position.
