The PALM is a caliper/inclinometer which provides immediate, objective skeletal alignment measurements when palpating any two anatomical points. It can indicate whether short leg length is structural or functional. It can measure descrepancies at the Illiac Crest heights, the ASIS's, the PSIS's, ASIS to PSIS, shoulders, knees, ankles, and even the jaw. In addition it can be used as a caliper for chest expansion. The PALM comes complete with three sets of palpation tips, a slide rule calculator for figuring height descrepancies, a standardized written protocal and an attractive carrying case.
